Robust is how I would describe these secateurs - and that's exactly how they've been designed.
Unusually for a Japanese made secateur they are stainless steel, rather than high carbon. These means they will require less maintenance than other Japanese secateurs. If you don't enjoy cleaning and oiling, then these are the ones for you.
They weigh 250grams and are 205mm long. Not as easy to sharpen as high carbon steel but they will hold their edge well.
