Events & Pop Ups
We've got a few amazing events already lined up for this year and we are still looking at adding others... so watch this space!
Welbourn Open Gardens Event (Lincolnshire) - Sunday 3rd July, 12-6pm
We met a lovely couple of keen gardeners at the Burghley Christmas Market who open their garden through the NGS each year, and they invited us to come along and take part. There are two gardens open, along with the village hall for teas, and the local forge for a look around. We'll be taking along a selection of garden tools and, as this is brilliant charity event, we'll offer visiting gardeners the chance to have their secateurs sharpened for a donation to charity - just remember to bring them with you!
Good Life Summer Camp - 10th - 11th July
We've been invited to host workshops at the Good Life Summer Camp. The Summer Camps are held over long weekends in July, and they're a chance to recharge, meet new people, and learn new things. The Good Life Society invite world experts in nature and outdoor craft to host workshops, expeditions and give inspiring talks. So we're pretty pleased they got in touch and asked us to be involved. We'll be sharing some practical how-to advice on tool maintenance - with a focus of getting hands-on to learn new maintenance skills. We'll also be on-hand to chat through tools generally - helping sign post people towards the direction of a more long term sustainable approach.
Goodwood Revival - 15th-18th September
We're heading back to Goodwood Revival - it was a blast last year, so we've booked the same spot.
We're just hoping we'll get to see some more of the racing this time! Lou's keen to have a go at the roller disco too - Edd, on the other hand, is not.
The Burghley Christmas Fair - 24th-27th November
The Burghley Christmas Fair is a great event - it's traditional and spectacular. And it's close to home for us - being just on the outskirts of Stamford. With chalets filled with great gift ideas, it makes for a nice shopping trip in readiness for Christmas.
