Events in 2024

 We've got a few amazing events already lined up for this year and we are still looking at adding others...

there are some more Plant Hunters Fairs to add to the below, and others are still TBC so keep watching this space! 

 

RHS Urban Show Manchester - 18th - 21st April 
This is a new show being run by the RHS and we're delighted to be taking part (and crossing our fingers it'll be a cracking event in its first iteration....!)

The Plant Lovers day - Creake Abbey, Norfolk - Saturday 18th May

We went to this event for the first time last year and loved it - the sun was shining, it's a lovely place, with a lot of really nice plant stalls (yes we did spend a bit too much ourselves!) 


Plant Hunters Fair - Carsington Water, Saturday 25th May
We're heading back to another Plant Hunters Fair - we did Carsington Water last year and we're looking forward to it again this year. As always at the Plant Hunters Fairs, there will be some great nurseries and growers there to buy plants for your garden, and we'll be there with tools to plant and tend them!

Magical Gardens, Cotswolds - Thursday 6th June.
This is a new event for us - we're delighted to have been invited to take part. 

Royal Windsor Flower Show - Saturday 8th June
We went along to the Royal Windsor Flower Show last year, not quite knowing what to expect.... and it was a LOVELY day out! The plants were lovely, the gardens were brilliant given it was *just* a one day event. Frankly, it felt like the 'ultimate' local village show - on steroids. Really nice for families and just a lovely spot of the world. So we're heading back!

Leicester Botanical Gardens open day - 30th June

Leicester Botanic Gardens are 16 acres of lovingly cultivated grounds and greenhouses, which focus on global biodiversity for research and teaching. Every year they host a Plant Sale and Family Day - which is a great opportunity to have a look around the gardens, pick up some plants and have some fun. We'll be there to have a chat to about garden tools (or tools generally) - we'll have plenty of Sneeboer, Niwaki and Haws watering cans on show. 

Holkham Hall Summer Garden and Outdoor Living Fair, Norfolk - Saturday 15th June
We love Holkham Hall in Norfolk and have been visiting it for many years.  The Walled Gardens are just beautiful and we've enjoyed seeing it change and develop over the years. In the last few years we've been to their Autumn Garden and Outdoor Living Fair, and they've just launched a new Summer event. We'll be there with a selection of (mainly) garden from Sneeboer, Niwaki and Opinel. 


Burghley Horse Trials - Stamford, Lincolnshire - 5th-8th September

We're delighted to be heading back to Burghley Horse Trials! It'll be year 3 for us - trading - as it's a local event to us so it's one we've personally attended for many years. We'll be bringing along all of our tools and kit - gardening tools from Sneeboer, Niwaki, and Haws watering cans, as well as Carhartt clothing, some Toyo toolboxes - and King Dick tools to store inside! 

Holkham Autumn Garden and Outdoor Living Fair (Date TBC)

Bicester Scramble - Sunday 6th October.
If you like classic or historic vehicles then a visit to a Scramble at the Bicester Heritage site is a must.  The ex WW2 RAF base makes the perfect back drop to the event and there's always an interesting mix of vehicles on display.  Plus all the restoration business's on site open their doors for you a look around.  Our stand will be automotive tool focused, but we'll bring along some garden tools as well!

 

Burghley House Christmas Market, Stamford - 28th Nov-1st Dec

Our little chalet is a now a bit of a regular fixture at the Burghley House Christmas Market. With the snow blowers, the abundance of Christmas trees, and the mulled wine, it's a proper christmas show. We did most of our present shopping here too - so we can vouch for the quality of the other stallholders!

Presents Galore, Newmarket - 29th Nov - 1st Dec
A new event for us that we're looking forward to heading to. And yes, the eagle-eyed will see that this overlaps with Burghley - so one of us will be at each... gulp - it's a first for us (we genuinely like hanging out together) - so if it's freezing you'll find me (Lou) at this indoor event!!
Haddon Hall Winter Market, Bakewell - 4th to 8th Dec.
Another new event for us this year.  A Christmas fair set in the grounds of the 900 year old Haddon Hall in the Peak District.
