I’ve lost count of how many pairs of ‘good’ jeans I’ve ruined whilst doing a ‘quick’ job in the garage.  And finding clothes that are durable enough for larger jobs (the reality for most of us who work on our cars at home means dreaming about a post lift whilst crawling around on the garage floor).  Workwear that doesn’t rip on thorns, blow out the knees and can withstand stray sparks from the angle grinder and the odd incident with a blow torch.  

My clothing ruination rate has decreased since discovering Carhartt’s Bib Overalls. Carhartt was founded as a workwear company in 1889 in Michigan, USA.  When you’ve been kitting out miners, mechanics and construction workers for 129 years you know how to build clothing that’s fit for the job and lasts.

** As of September 2025 our Carhartt stock levels are extremely low due to supply issues from Carhartt.  With Carhartts primary workwear market being the USA, the implications for the increased import tariffs have been significant and it appears that finished goods being held in their European warehouse were moved to the US ahead of tariffs being imposed.  This has left stock levels very low within Europe and I don't think things will improve before early 2026.  Our website runs of the physical stock we have available so if something is showing as in stock then we already have it.
