Some people specifically want to support British businesses and only buy things that are 'Made in Britain' as gifts (or for themselves). 

If that's the case - we can help! Whilst a lot of hand tools and kit are made overseas there are still a good number of English brands who still manufacture in the UK.  They definitely fit the description of ‘buy once, buy well’ – because, yes, it's likely you can buy cheaper from overseas – but these British manufacturers are making tools and kit that will last.
