Tinker and Fix x Cruz Custom Tools hex driver 2025
Tinker and Fix x Cruz Custom Tools hex driver 2025
Couldn't load pickup availability
This is the third year we've organised a batch of one off hex drivers - its most definently a tradition now.
Two years we got in contact with Cruz Custom Tools, who are based in Utah, to see if he would be interested in doing a custom run of hex drivers just for us. Happily he said yes and a couple of months later we were able to offer that first driver for sale ... that was three years ago.
We went bright for last years, but this year we've gone darker and back to a hex stock for the grip area. It's been one of those years and it felt right
These drivers site right on the edge of where a functional tool meets art/sculpture. Each one is hand made, with hours and hours of work going into the machining and polishing.
The bodies are solid brass. Each one has a unqiue, hand carved "reveal" ... that show the internal gogs .....
The bearing just spins and spins.
I use a hex driver like this for jobs that require low torque or just a small adjustment. For me its mainly on leather work, but its also been used to adjustment the carb on the Reliant Scimitar.
Could other “lesser” tools do the same job? Of course, but few make me smile as much every time I pick it up.
Limited quantity available and once they are gone, they are gone.
Supplied with a selection of the smaller Torx hex bits.
We do have a couple of the 2024 version, which you can find here.
