As soon as we made the first leather secateur holster to hold a pair of Japanese style secateurs and an Opinel garden knife, the questions started....
"When are you going to make a version that fits a pair of Felco's?"
The challenge I had with this is that although I think the Swiss are great at making chocolate and cheese, I'm not a fan of their pocket knives or secateurs! Not owning a pair of Felco's* made it easy for me to kick it down the line.
But after being, quiet rightly, pestered by several customers we now have a option that I'm really happy with.
This holster is based around a Felco #2 and an Opinel garden knife. Other Felco's, or secateurs of similar dimensions should also work. Especially as the leather tends to stretch and mould to what its holding.
Completely handmade by us from 3.5mm veg tanned leather. Designed to be worn on the hip and will fit on belts up to 1.75 inches. The main compartment is angled to allow easy insertion and removal of both the secatuers and knife. The bottom of the main compartment is left open to stop debris building up.
The holster is roughly 14 cm wide and 23 cm long.
The leather will be initially stif and will soften and shape to wearer with use.
The standard colour will be black and tan. If you would like a custom colour then thats not an issue. Just order using the custom option and then get in contact to discuss your requirements.
