Our Heat-Activated Fabric Dressing comes in a large 1/2-pint tin and provides enough wax to tackle those bigger projects. This item is perfect for those folks looking to achieve that ‘Factory-Waxed’ appearance. Our Fabric Dressing is perfect for those waterproofing unwaxed items, but it’s also a great option for those that want to use an all-natural wax treatment to re-waterproof their factory-waxed and oiled jackets. Applies easily when melted with a natural-bristle paint brush, soft cloth, and some elbow grease.

Good, but difficult to apply and not enough

This is good stuff. It smells great and I like the fact that it is eco-friendly. However, it is quite difficult to apply (difficult to heat and get the stuff out of the small can). It also wasn't enough to cover a cotton anorak.

Awesome

I've used the Otter wax bar before and this tin is so much easier to use. Yes, there is a bit of prep and Yes, you have to keep bring the water that the tin sits in back to the boil. But using it is really much easier than the bar. I'd recommend both products but for overall ease, the tin wins. End result is awesome, really happy with the waterproofing quality of this product and smells really good.
