Niwaki Mainichi Secateur

We've held off stocking these secateurs for awhile because we couldn't quiet work out where they fit into our offering.  But after stocking the L/H version of these, and handling them at various shows through the summer, we now get it.

These sit firmly between our favourite Sentei's and the Shumatsu.  If you like a one piece design then the Sentei's are for you, but it you like the larger handle of a two piece design then these are a good option if the textured handle of the Shumatsu isn't for you.

Made in Japan from SK85 carbon steel.  They weigh 210grams, 55mm blade length and 203mm overall length.

Each arm is a two piece construction, with the handles riveted to the blade section.

Like all carbon steel, these will get some surface rust and tarnishing with use.  They can easily be cleaned using Crean Mate and kept oiled with Camelia Oil.
