I've lost count of the number of cheap plastic dustpans and brushes I've broken in the garage. Plus they are too flimsy for most proper cleaning up jobs.
This set contains a painted metal dustpan with a Beech handle. Its also wide enough and deep enough to clean up anything from wood shavings to the piles of rust that usually appear from my projects. Overall length is 42cm. The pan is 26cm wide on the leading edge, and narrows to 19cm in the middle.
The brush is made using Arenga - which is a fibre made from sugar palm. The bristles are finer and softer than nylon, but also tough, elastic and water resistant. Making it perfect for sweeping up anything from fine dust to heavy mud. The brush is 35cm long.
