Made by Whiteleys in Sheffield, these Leather Shears have become a firm favourite.
I do a little leather work - mainly making sheaths for the custom painted axes we do. I tend to switch between a knife and scissors when cutting leather, but the scissors I was using where a pair of medical scissors designed for cutting off plaster casts!
The shears are perfect for the job. Robustly made and the longer handles give you more leverage enabling a cleaner cut. The handle bows are offset for greater comfort in use.
