Sneeboer Potting Trowel
Sneeboer Potting Trowel
The Sneeboer Potting Trowel is one of those tools we didn't know we needed until we tried it.
It's been designed to work in tight spaces around pots and especially for adding soil around root balls when repotting.
We've used standard trowels for this job for years, and although completely doable we always tend to end up with a lot of soil spillage. The off centre handle design of the Sneeboer Potting Trowel just makes things so much easier.
Overall length of 27cm and the handle is made of Cherry.
It's available in right handed and left handed models which can be selected from the drop down menu.
As this item is hand forged please expect to see some hammer marks and black coke marks on the surface. These add to the unique character of each tool and do not affect the durability or quality of the tool in anyway.
There are a couple of Sneeboer garden tools that we think make great unusual gifts for gardeners - this Potting Trowel is definitely one of them (alongside the Dandelion Trowel and the Sneeboer flat stone scratcher). This is because these are Sneeboer's more distinctive and unusual garden tools - so we reckon it makes a cracking gift for the gardener in your life (as it's unlikely they'll have one, but once they do, they'll love it).
Why invest in Sneeboer garden tools?
Quite simply, they are high quality hand forged gardening tools that'll last a lifetime.

So useful for reporting and getting round the edges of the pot
Who'd think by curling one edge of the Trowel over it would become answer too all potting needs. No more having compost spilling when repotting or adding existing pots or planters. Also found it useful when adding horticultural grit around plants once in the pots, helps to keep compost/soil from been washed out when watering.
So well balance when in hand and so easy to control the flow, having Arthritis in my hands this has been a game changer for potting on.
