Niwaki Oil Dispenser
Niwaki Oil Dispenser
Quality tools are an investment and taking the time to maintain them should become a regular activity. The good news is that it isn't difficult or time consuming and I actually find it quiet an enjoyable process in itself.
Regular oiling of metal tools, especially garden cutting tools, is important to stop surface rust forming. It's especially critical for tools made from high carbon steel. I've switched from using a light machine oil to Camelia oil. A single drop is all that's needed on most tools and I used to have a small piece of sponge especially for this job. It makes sense to have something that is saturated in the oil to prevent wastage.
This oil dispenser takes that to the next level, and is a lot simpler to use and less likely to get lost. The bottle splits in half to be filled around half full with Camelia oil. The wading then wicks the oil into the dispenser head. Simple and clean to use.
Available to buy on its own if you already have some Camelia oil or together with some oil as a set.
Made from plastic in Japan. I would say it holds around 40ml of Camelia oil.
