There's little nicer than going out into you garden and cutting your own flowers. But that old lump of green florists foam - often called Oasis - that's been in your cupboard isn't the greatest thing to us for your flower arrangement.
They are full of nasties and microplastics - generally stuff that you don't want on your hands or to inhale.
Flower frogs were developed in Japan for tradtional Ikebana flower arranging. They use multiple sharp brass spikes set into a weighted metal base to hold up your flowers. The spikes pierce the stems and help with water uptake as well.
