Merchant & Mills Harlene bib overall Pattern and hardwear
We're a big fan of the Crawford womens bib overalls that we sell so when we saw a Merchant & Mills pattern for a pair of bib overalls we thought it was worth a look.
A traditional pair of easy fitting dungarees. A hard-working wardrobe staple featuring classic detailing and optional top stitching.
Skill level – intermediate.
This is a printed pattern including sizes 6 – 18., and the hardwear kit including clips, sliders and hammer on buttoms.
All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated.
Suggested fabrics – medium weight woven cloth, 8 – 11 oz denim, cotton canvas, cotton drill, corduroy, yarn dyed linen. If you are using a thick fabric you may decide to cut the waistband and button fly pieces out of a thinner fabric to reduce bulk.
You will need:
1 x Matching thread
1 x Contrasting thread (Optional. We used Gutermann ‘extra strong’)
2 x 40mm dungaree clips (included in this kit)
