Joseph Marples Marking Knife

Sometimes you need more than a pencil when marking wood or other hard materials.  That's when a marking knife comes into play.

These knives are designed to be used for scoring a line, rather than cutting the material.  They are supplied with a basic edge, that while is sharp, could also be further refined with sharpening and stroping.

It's a single bevel edge which allows the knife to be run along a straight edge and accurately mark the line.  Supplied in either Right or Left handed versions as a result.
