Gransfors Bruk Hunter's Axe

You don't have to get fixated with the name of this axe.  Yes, the rounded and polished poll was designed to be used when skinning deer or elk .... but its also just an interesting alternative to the Small Forest Axe.

Personally I prefer the "feel" of this axe to Small Forest Axe.  It was a similar sized and weighted head but the handle is straighter, and of a larger diameter.  For me this feels better in the hand and I like the grip grooves on the lower section of the handle.

Overall length is 48cm and weighs 2lbs.

Hickory handle and supplied with a leather sheath.
