Felco 8 Elite Secateurs

This is the "elite" version of the Felco 8.  

What makes it "elite." -

• the red plastic covers on the handles have been switched to a more comfortable leather wrap.  Dark brown with red thread.
• the cutting blade has been upgraded to Felco's F-tech blade.  This has a black coating that reduces friction and helps prevent rust and sap build up on the blade.
• the mechanism that locks the blades closed has a extra locking position.  This allows the opening position to be restricted for when you don't require the full range of opening.

Apart from that they are the same as the standard Felco 8 which you can find here.

Aluminium handles with a hardened steel blade.  Generally speaking they require less maintenance than a Japanese style secateur.

Classed as a size "large" for hands the measure 20cm and above from wrist to finger tip.  Sizing guide can be found here.
