Tinker and Fix in (ANOTHER!) Christmas Gift Guide!

Christmas gift guides for gardeners - Tinker and Fix feature It's always lovely to be featured in Christmas Gift Guides - and we've had a flurry of listings this year.
Our latest Christmas Gift Guide mention is in Gardens Illustrated magazine - and our Tinker and Fix skatewood axe is in the best gift ideas for gardeners feature this month.
We're delighted to be featured - the Skatewood axe is in lovely company, with some top present ideas for the person who loves gardens and all things gardening.  We are very proud of our Skatewood Axe - each axe is completely unique, and brings together the talents and skills of four British makers:
  • The head: designed by Alex Pole and made at The Forge, Somerset.
  • The haft (handle): made by Sam Morris, The Axe and Edge Tool Co, Powys, Wales.
  • The skatewood: made by Ben Footlit, Afterlifebf, Lincolnshire.
  • The sheath: designed and made by Edd, Tinker and Fix, Rutland.

We reckon it's the first skatewood axe - it's the perfect size for kindling, camping and for hanging next to your log burner. Yes, it's a bit of a treat - but isn't that what Christmas presents (or birthday!) are all abut - something completely unique, a one-off gift that will make someone smile, make them feel special and perhaps something they wouldn't buy for themselves?

The Skatewood Hatchets are available to buy online. And you can read the reviews from just some of the people who have bought (and loved) them!
