Summer watering, made easier with classic Haws watering cans
Share
Our go-to watering cans, for many, many years, have been ones from Haws. We recently came to replace the heads - after I think about 10 years - and thought, why don’t we stock these, given we use them, rate them, and heartily recommend them?
Sometimes, somethings are just so obvious.
Haws started making watering cans in 1884 .... that's a long time to have been refining designs and manufacturing. They are still made in England. And the quality continues to be excellent.
We've selected the outdoor watering cans that we use. The two smaller plastic ones (The Sutton Splash and The Selly Soak) live in the green house.
The metal Bearwood Brook two gallon handles watering the pots and beds during the summer really nicely, it’s now become a favourite that we wish we’d had for years. We are also stocking the one gallon Warley Fall which offers a lighter weight option and one that offers precision watering (rather than the soaking from the Bearwood Brook).
Of course, the classic colour way is the beautiful bottle green. But, do have a look at the grey versions as an alternative colour option. They are, frankly, very cool looking. A little less traditional looking, but definitely our preferred colour now we’ve seen it and had it hanging around the garden and green house for the last few months!
