Niwaki reckon that 240mm is the perfect sized saw for gardening and light tree pruning. Which happens to be the size of their Moku Pruning Saw. And we'd definitely agree with them.

The Moku Pruning Saw is ideal for all-round pruning in the garden, woodland and orchard, thanks to its medium sized blade length, but also because of its ergonomic handle.  Made from unfinished beechwood, it fits nicely in the hand whilst you're using it.  Over time, you can treat the handle with your preferred oil, or let sweat and hard graft create your own unique handle patina.

The saw comes with its own beechwood scabbard, which it fits in snugly - so there's no rattling and no need for extra straps.

Product spec details for the Niwaki Moku Pruning Saw:

  • SK5 steel blade
  • 240mm long, 10 teeth per 30mm
  • Beechwood handle and scabbard
  • Leather belt loop

What a tool. My last one wasn’t great. 2024 was my year to upgrade all my tools. And I am so pleased I have. I can’t fault anything that has come from Tinker and Fix. Tried and tested and perfect for each job.
This Niwaki pruning saw glided through an awkward to reach cherry branch and made light work of it. It is a tool I am looking forward to using more this year.
