Tinker and Fix Gardener's Pencils
Tinker and Fix Gardener's Pencils
Are Gardener's Pencils a "thing"?
I don't really know but they might be now.
Pencils are useful things and we thought it was time we had some of our own. We didn't want some cheap and low quality "promo" pencil. We wanted these to represent Tinker and Fix and so we went to Chambers Pencils in Nottingham.
Chambers Pencils have been making pencils in Nottingham for over a hundred years - and are still family run. I figured they'd known a thing or two about pencils.
You'll notice these pencils have "Label" pointing to the sharp end and "Dib" to the white end. Why? - because thats how we use them in the greenhouse. Pencils are great for dibbing planting holes in compost for seeds and for labelling them up.
The white section on the end is also approximately 2 cm - so gives you a depth reference when dibbing.
They're also great as an all round pencil in the workshop or office.
Triangular in shape, black core and a 2B so slightly softer and darker than a standard HB.
Matt black and white printing.
Sold in packs of three.
We also do a Carpenters Pencil which you can buy here.
