What's in the stocking?!

The Carhartt Stocking is a thing to behold. A must-have for die-hard Carhartt fans. Becuase it's made from the same material as their famous Detroit Jacket, and from their overalls. You know the workwear clothing that is legendary - it's a total overkill. But it's all Carhartt, and it's all Christmas. 

So, we've got them in stock. And you can literally 'fill your boots' with them. Or fill them with stuff for your loved one.

Ideas we've had from customers... give it as a gift and fill it with screws. Fill them with chocolates. Or fill them with some goodies from Tinker and Fix - here are our suggestions.... 

• Fixits - the perfect stocking filler - but not because they are tat, but because they are useful and will be used (and a lot of people think they are interesting in that they are remouldable plastic - great for fixing broken stuff)
• King Dick 1 for 6 Screwdriver - best £10 you'll ever spend. Done. No sales pitch or pre-amble needed on this one. 
• Pencils - because they are always useful and because we get them made from the last remaining British manufacturer of pencils. Choose Gardener's pencils or Carpenters pencils. 
• Garden string - becuase you can never have enough and ours is decent quality, not like the rubbish you get in 'gardener gift kits' that'll unravel. 
• Brushes - we've a load of different ones that will help you do what you need to do - and because yes Edd would be delighted to get brushes on Christmas day - so surely some of our very similar customers would feel the same?!
• Gardener's Nail brush - specifically  - it's a great bit of kit that we use all the time. Bizarly it's one of our most reviewed and loved things on the website. We've put it together with some really nice soap... so it makes a nice mini-gift. 
• Carhartt beanie - becuase you can never have enough warm hats for winter and with all the different new colours, it'll be a gift everyone is bound to like - what Carhartt fan wouldn't want to get a Carhartt beanie inside a Carhartt stocking?!
• Otter Wax - now Edd mocked me on this one (I chose the stocking fillers for the instagram video) saying it was a curve ball - then he goes on to say how it would be great for prepping jackets (like Barbour and Belstaff) for the Boxing Day walk. Case closed... perfect gift... as it's something to 'play' with after Christmas day is over, and the output is a jacket that actually keeps you dry. 

Of course you can absolutely fit a load of other tools into the Carhartt Stocking - from Opinel, Sneeboer or Niwaki - so it'd make great gift wrapping too....
