Introducing... Joseph Marples joiners hand tools

Joseph Marples have been making joiners hand tools in Sheffield since 1840.  They are one of the multiple "Marples" families famous for tool making in the area.

I'm no joiner but I do have multiple old squares dotted around the workshop.  The one I gravitate to the most often is a traditional rosewood a brass version made by Joseph Marples.

They are made in Sheffield, and tried and tested by us. So we're now stocking a range of their tools that reckon would make a great addition to any workshop. They are:

  • Spirit Levels
  • Try Square
  • Try and Mitre
  • Carpenters Mallet
  • Bradawl and Square Awl
  • Marking Knife
  • Screwdrivers – Philips and Pozidrive
  • Sliding Bevels

Check out the collection here.
