These Niwaki Sharpening Stones are fantastic as they are specially designed for Niwaki Secateurs, but also great for Niwaki Shears, Topiary Clippers and other sharp stuff. The concave edge follows the curve of the blade perfectly, and they're small enough to get into tight spots.

You can chose from three different grades:

Grey #220 grit: coarse, for grinding out rough and damaged blades
Brown #1000 grit: fine, for regular sharpening
Sand #3000 grit, super fine, for honing and detailed work on high quality steel

Nice tool

I bought the medium grade and used it to sharpen all my secateurs and snips. I also demonstrated its use to my gardening group. It's easy to use and lovely to handle.
Delivery however was a bit slow.

Ordering process was easy, website is informative.

Delivery was super quick and really appreciated the nice little touches with the product like the Japanese newspaper it was wrapped in, and the little pack of sweets!!
The niwaki stone looks of a high quality but I have yet to use it.

Highly recommend and will definitely buy again from them if I need any further products.
