Leatherman Rebar

I've had a Leatherman multi-tool for over 20 years. In fact, I currently own five, including two of my favourite folding knives made by the brand.

Do I use them often - being honest no.  I've got a workshop and prefer to use the individual tools for the job.  But that's not what Leatherman's are about.  I always carry one on road trips and one lives in my mountain bike back pack.  When I've needed a tool to get me out of a jam they've always come good.

The Rebar is the closest current model to my original and most used Leatherman.  17 tools covering a lot of eventualities.

The Rebar comes with a black leather sheath and it includes these tools:

1. Needlenose Pliers

   Perfect for holding small objects or using the pliers in tight, narrow spaces.

2. Regular Pliers

   Conveniently hold and manipulate items.

3. Premium Replaceable Wire Cutters
   

   Easily cut through regular and light-gauge wire with this replaceable, edge-retaining tool.
   

4. Premium Replaceable Hard-wire Cutters
   

   Easily cut through electrical hard wires with this replaceable, edge-retaining tool.

5. Electrical Crimper
   

   Found in the jaw of the tool and used for general purpose crimping of electrical connectors.

6. Wire Stripper
   

   Safely strip multiple gauges and types of wire.

7. 420HC Knife
   

   A knife crafted from 420HC, a high-carbon stainless steel that is corrosion resistant and can be easily maintained.

8. 420HC Serrated Knife
   

   Cut rough materials (like rope or fibre) with this corrosion-resistant, easily maintained knife.

9. Saw
   

   Quickly and easily saw through tough materials with this open-toothed tool.

10. Awl w/Thread Loop
    

    Puncture tough materials to create or enlarge holes and sew with the loop.

11. Ruler (8 in | 19 cm)
    

    A precise measuring guide for determining length in inches or centimetres, up to 8 inches or 19 centimetres.

    Tighten and loosen larger flat-headed screws.

17. Small Screwdriver
    

    Tighten and loosen small flathead screws.
